What is a New Energy Solution?
New Energy Solution:- A global energy conservation and renewable energy company based in Southeast Michigan. We are here for you. We strive to make the transition to renewable energy easy and hassle-free. The owner, David Hollens, is a Michigan State University graduate and the direct operator of New Energy Solutions. He is your single point of contact and oversees the entire solar project from start to finish. Dave has been working with individual clients since 2009 helping them go green.
Whether consulting, system design, installation, or third-party verification, we have the experience and expertise to be your long-term energy partner and avoid the most devastating effects of climate change. We must limit global warming to 1.5°C. We urgently need near-term reductions in energy-related carbon emissions, which means businesses must use the low-carbon energy sources available today, from the way we heat and light buildings to how goods, people, and services are transported. With proven technologies and low-carbon fuels, we can already make significant progress in decarburizing the energy system.
What is the Concept of New Energy?
The concept of "new energy" generally refers to Renewable energy as energy from natural sources that are replenished faster than it is used. Sunlight and wind, for example, are such constantly renewing sources. Renewable energy sources are ubiquitous and all around us. Fossil fuels—coal, oil, and gas—are nonrenewable resources that take hundreds of millions of years to form. Fossil fuels that are burned to generate energy cause harmful emissions of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide.
Renewable energy generation produces far fewer emissions than burning fossil fuels. Switching from fossil fuels, which currently account for the lion's share of
emissions, to renewable energy, is key to solving the climate crisis. Renewable energy is now cheaper in most countries and creates three times more jobs than
fossil fuels. It is energy from natural resources that can be renewed in less than a human lifetime without depleting the planet's resources. These resources—such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, biomass, and thermal energy stored in the earth's crust—have the advantage of being available in one form or another almost everywhere. They are practically inexhaustible. And the most important thing: They do not harm the climate or the environment. Fossil fuels such as oil, coal, and natural gas, on the other hand, are only available to a limited extent. Since we are constantly exploiting them, sooner or later they will be used up. Although they are formed through natural processes, they do not regenerate as quickly as we humans use them.
Even today, the world is heavily dependent on and even subsidises, fossil fuels. In the meantime, their pollution, ranging from climate-damaging greenhouse gases to harmful particles, has reached record levels. And when things go wrong, as with the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion in 2010, the consequences are devastating.
Renewable energies have grown faster than other forms of energy since 2011. Renewable energy had another peak year in 2021, as installed capacity grew by more than 314 gigawatts (GW), the largest increase on record. Almost 29% of our electricity now comes from renewable sources, and the trend is rising.
Benefits of Renewable Energy for people and the planet
1. Renewable energy emits little or no greenhouse gas emissions. That's good for the climate.
2. Renewable energy sources emit no or minimum air pollutants. It’s better for our health.
3. Renewable energy is economical. This is helpful in keeping energy prices affordable.
4. Renewable energies create jobs. It's good for the local community.
5. Renewable energy is accessible to all. It's good for development.
6. Renewable energies are safe. This is good for stability.
7. Renewable energies are democratic. It’s good for acceptance.
Tools and Resources in Renewable Energy
Global State of Renewable Energy (GSR) report since 2005, REN21 has been tracking what's happening in renewable energy markets, policies, and investments around the world. RES in Cities Global Status Report (REC) Many cities around the world already get 100% of their electricity from renewable sources. They are now taking steps to expand their ambition to get rid of fossil fuels in heating, cooling, transportation, and industry. This report is an annual summary of how city actions can directly support the transition to renewable energy. It aims to make data more standardized, easier to evaluate, and more comparable.
How to Invest in Renewable Energy?
Investing in renewable energy is as simple as choosing a single stock, mutual fund, or exchange-traded fund (ETF) focused on green energy. It's important to realize that if you decide to invest in a mutual fund or ETF, you can also invest in traditional energy companies. While big oil companies depend on fossil fuels, many are beginning to invest in renewable energy. Because of this, you should know the underlying companies of any fund you choose to invest in. Because there are many ways to invest in green energy.
